At Bowron Valley Log Homes we manufacture our fencing from handpicked birch rails. Selected and harvested in the winter, our rails are handpeeled to give its unique look. Then the wood is air dried in our yard. Birch is a hardwood that proves to be an excellent outdoor material because it doesn't crack. Years of experience have shown us that birch hardwood is by far superior to other fencing material commonly used.
To put together our fences we use mortise and tenon for a perfect fit. Mortise and tenon make a beautiful and very strong joint, so you don't even need a single screw to assemble it. Our hardwood fences are very sturdy and once they are stained with a good exterior stain last for years to come.
